Pickleball
Pickleball was introduced to San Felipe in 2006 at El Dorado Ranch. Since that time the Ranch has put in four pickleball courts at Cachanilla located on the Ranch property. We have daily activities and currently have a membership of 80 members. We have tournaments during the winter season and a major 4-5 day annual tournament, The El Dorado Ranch Annual Pickleball tournament in March.
Paddles and balls are supplied by the

Monday, Wednesday and Fridays have become regular pickle ball game days with hours from 7:30 - 10:30am. We also have the night “guys”, the staff and anyone who wants to get out and really play some aggressive pickle ball in the evenings. Sundays have brought out the advanced players for their own games and challenges.
Dee Turner has continued to offer “free” lessons and demos to all new pickle ball players. New players are encouraged to show up, just check the El Dorado Ranch activity schedule and be sure to wear tennis shoes. Also, on the activity schedule are select times for beginner, intermediate and advanced players to play.
The current El Dorado Ranch pickleball committee consists of:

Season Highlights:
El Dorado Ranch pickleball has had a full season of new players, tournaments, monthly socials as well as regular classes for both beginner and intermediate players.
The spring tournament this year was a full week long with additional events which brought the picklers to a new level of play. Last year we had mostly beginner and intermediate players, this year it was intermediate and advanced players. Singles, men’s and women’s doubles, open doubles and mixed doubles led the way to a great and fun tournament.

Way to go El Dorado Ranch Picklers, another great year!!
